Two figures quietly made their way
across the large entry way and out the grand doors that led to the grounds.
They walked in silence towards the calm water of the lake on the far end of the
grassy landscape. When they reached the water’s edge, each reached out of the
hand of the other. Their fingers intertwined and they began to stroll down the
path around the lake.
One figure sighed happily and squeezed the other’s hand. “Harry?” the figure
spoke softly.
“Yes, Ron?” the other responded just as tenderly.
“Do you love me?”
Under the shadow of bushes leaning out over the water, they halted and drew
breath. Ron turned to look at the brunette standing next to him. He smiled and
said, “Of course I do. You were the first person to befriend me and before I
knew it I was in love. You mean the world to me.”
Ron blushed and returned the smile. They began walking again, as he said, “Good.”
